Bus Link Oxford Culham (“BLOC”) is a parent collective established three decades ago, with the sole aim of supporting transportation needs of pupils living within the Oxford ring-road and attending the European School Culham.

The success of BLOC has been down to the amazing collaboration of parents within the collective. This has continued with the transition of the pupil population from the European School Culham to the Europa School UK (on the same site). With this transition, the geographical distribution pupils has shifted year-on-year and has necessitated greater transportation needs.

BLOC itself does not provide a service and only acts a conduit by which parents collectively pay for bus services – initially, this was for three routes, but this has now expanded to six routes, including serving Abingdon, due to the increased needs of pupils living between Oxford and Culham.

As BLOC enters a new decade, the aims remain the same as when it was established as a collective.
